For such a fearful child/person, when I first heard the phrase “do it afraid” it hit me like a lightning bolt! Really? People that do all of those terrifying things, like talking in front of people or standing in front of people or sky diving or riding a roller coaster, are actually afraid as they do them?!?!
See I assumed that every one of those brave people were not scared at all as they did those things. To hear that they were not letting their fear stop them, woke me up!
Honestly, all of us are facing some sort of fear right. We are worried that donors will forget about us. We are worried that someone will figure out that we have no clue what we are doing. We have to move forward afraid. We cannot let that fear stop us! We take one step and one moment at a time, depending on the Lord to guide our steps. We make the choice to trust Him.
Our current clients and our future clients need us. They need our stability. They need our hope. They need our Jesus that exudes from us every time we connect with them.
