“God does not call the qualified but qualifies the called” has been my consolation many times in my 17-year tenure as ED. Many times when I felt alone, not only could I feel God holding me up, but Five Stone Mentoring was right there to cheer me on. Now he has called me here where I have the privilege of walking with you and encouraging you to keep up the good fight. Don’t lead alone!
My Story
In 1996, while I was busy in my kitchen, I heard the radio DJ pose this question, “If you say you are pro-life, what are you doing to prove it?” I was immediately convicted to do more than say the words. I found a local Pregnancy Resource Center and applied to be a volunteer. A few years later the Board of Directors asked me to serve as the Assistant Director and in 2005 I was hired as the Executive Director. During my tenure as Executive Director, I was privileged to have a front-row seat to watch God do some mighty things. Our staff increased by nearly 400%, and we added ultrasound, Earn While You Learn, a Sexual Risk Avoidance program, an abortion healing ministry, a men’s ministry, STI testing and treatment, and a mobile ministry. I am humbled that God allowed me to have just a small part in His great work.
I am excited to be part of Five Stone Mentoring to continue his work. I have learned so much through my experiences and can’t wait to share my knowledge with you on your own leadership journey.
I live in Kansas with my husband of 33 years on our farm & ranch. We are blessed with a son and 3 daughters, a daughter-in-love and 2 sons-in-love. In my spare time you will find me with our 4 grandchildren: Claire (7) Cade (4) Greyson (9 mo) & Kendrick (7 mo).
