Hello
My core desire is to glorify God while serving others, so once I was asked to pray about mentoring others that were working in similar areas, I happily said, “Yes.” I have found mentoring to be gratifying as I am allowed the opportunity to be a positive presence for an Executive Director while watching them grow in confidence from the curriculum and my own experiences. To see a ministry succeed because the Executive Director is succeeding is a “win-win” situation. I am truly humbled to walk alongside anyone that would allow me to be on their journey with them.
My Story
I have over 12 years of experience working in faith-based, non-profit pregnancy centers. My roles include Operations Supervisor, Development Director, and Executive Director. I had the privilege of witnessing God work as the ministry grew and expanded. Little did I know that God was preparing me to be used in this ministry, but in a different capacity. I am honored to be in a position that allows me to mentor and walk alongside other Executive Directors as they navigate the challenges and obstacles faced when working in ministry.
I have a passion for developing, networking, and connecting with people, especially when I know those efforts will please God.
My background in development and desire to grow the ministry led to some achievements, such as doubling the donor base, growing fundraising attendance by 200%, and adding a second location next door to a Pregnancy Center’s main competitor, Planned Parenthood.
I was born and raised in Mississippi, but I have resided in Arkansas with my husband of 29 years with our two daughters and their families, living nearby. In my spare time, I enjoy boating, camping, golfing, painting, walking, and spending time with friends and family as often as possible. Laughing is my favorite!
